The goal was to develop effective models for downtown housing on four different sizes of sites, creating public and private open spaces to make downtown living more attractive and safe. Proposed designs concentrate on modular and standardized units for cost efficiency while providing maximum flexibility of units to serve households of diverse ages, occupations and income levels.
